I plan to get my local iron foundry to make me some of these lovely little tables for the balcom

The difficulty can be in finding a big bed in Egypt and some of the styles on offer in the shops are quite old fashioned.  I had our bed made at a local foundry where they made something from a picture I showed them. It cost us 2000 egyptian pounds, just over £200.00   We got around the limited mattress size here by buying 2 single mattresses.  The top picture is of the Hotel El Moudira on the West Bank in Luxor.

Egyptian Doors

Egypt has a fantastic history of making beautiful doors. Many are now valuable antiques.  It is however possible to have doors made in any style by local craftsmen

Beautiful Arabic Style

I love many aspects of Arabic Style.  In Egypt there is the craftmanship and the materials to make a beautiful home at a very reasonable cost.
